Description:

PAANY is seeking a motivated individual to lead its organizational design efforts, overseeing the governance framework to lay the foundation for growth.  The ideal candidate would have experience and knowledge of best practices in non-profit governance, policies and board oversight. The Chair will be supported by the other members of the Governance Committee.

Duties:

1. Convene and preside over Committee meetings;
2. Set meeting agendas in coordination with relevant Officers;
3. Ensure that Committee activities align with the Committee’s approved mandate;
4. Facilitate productive participation and attendance by Committee members;
5. Ensure that minutes are prepared and maintained;
6. Serve as the primary liaison between the Committee, the Board, and relevant Officers;
7. Present written and/or oral reports to the Board as required.
