PAANY Committees

PAANY's organizational structure encompasses several committees to help execute its vision and mission, as provided below. Additional committees may be added from time to time as needed to support PAANY's continued growth and impact. If you have any questions on PAANY's committees, please email info@paany.org.

Governance CommitteeTo support effective governance and organizational development
  • Review governance practices and policies;
  • Recommend Bylaw or policy amendments;
  • Support Director orientation and evaluation; and
  • Oversee Board composition and succession planning
Member Affairs CommitteeTo support member engagement, benefits, and satisfaction
  • Review membership policies and dues-related issues;
  • Address member concerns and engagement initiatives; and
  • Support diversity, inclusion, and professional development
Law Student CommitteeTo advance the interests and engagement of law student members
  • Develop law student programming and mentorship initiatives;
  • Coordinate outreach to law schools; and
  • Advise the Board on law student issues
Events CommitteeTo plan and support PAANY's and programs
  • Plan networking events, panels, and conferences;
  • Coordinate logistics with Officers; and
  • Ensure compliance with Association policies and budgets
Sponsorship and Fundraising CommitteeTo support the financial sustainability of the Association
  • Develop sponsorship strategies;
  • Identify fundraising opportunities; and
  • Support donor and sponsor relations
