Description: 

PAANY seeking a motivated individual to lead the organization's efforts in collaborating with third party organizations including law firms, law schools, businesses, professional associations and community organizations. The ideal candidate would have experience in networking, building bridges and finding creative ways to bring different communities and stakeholders together. The Chair will be supported by the other members of the Sponsorships and Fundraising Committee.

Duties:

1. Convene and preside over Committee meetings;
2. Set meeting agendas in coordination with relevant Officers;
3. Ensure that Committee activities align with the Committee’s approved mandate;
4. Facilitate productive participation and attendance by Committee members;
5. Ensure that minutes are prepared and maintained;
6. Serve as the primary liaison between the Committee, the Board, and relevant Officers;
7. Present written and/or oral reports to the Board as required.
